THE THEMES SHAPING OUR FUTURE
In 2020, during the Reflections Phase, RMIT NEXT explored ten key themes that are pertinent to our University’s future, gathered from the feedback and insights of our global community.
These themes included: Learning & Teaching; Research; Global; Diversity and Inclusion; Space and Place; Sustainability; Digital & Technology; Reconciliation; Partnerships and Impact; Culture, Systems and Organisation, and provided inspiration and opportunities for our global community to share their perspectives, experiences, and ambitions — and inform our University’s future direction.
The feedback gathered during the Reflections Phase will be reflected in a Directions Paper, released in July during RMIT NEXT’s Directions Phase — the shared directions for our University that will help frame RMIT’s ambitions for the future and guide the next stage of the discussions about our priorities, goals and future action.
