RMIT Next: Global Forum
Led by RMIT Vice-Chancellor Martin Bean alongside global thought leaders, RMIT NEXT will explore the emerging global challenges and opportunities in a post-pandemic environment, and how RMIT should best respond to them.
Created in partnership with Asia Society, the expert line-up includes:
- Cat Thao Nguyen, Co-Founder & Chair Australia Vietnam Leadership Dialogue
- Colin Marson, Head of Google for Education, JAPAC at Google Cloud
- Richard Maude, Executive Director Policy, Asia Society Australia & Senior Fellow, Asia Society Policy Institute
Over one hour, the panellists will discuss ‘How a global university can drive impact in a rapidly changing world’, with Thao providing insights on social justice and inclusion, touching on how universities like RMIT can lead inclusion across our community, Colin speaking to the role of technology in a fast-changing world and Richard on thematic issues that are shaping the world around us and how this affects education institutions.
In 2021, the RMIT NEXT project will continue the engagement and work to building our University’s shared Directions, gathering the ideas and ambitions of our global community so that we can power a path forward for RMIT.
